Fear, Imagination, And No-One Really Knows You’re Alive

“Fear, Imagination, And The Fact That No-One Really Knows You’re Alive”

To push through the distractions of life and ignore the modern concerns, to willingly focus our attention on being ourselves, to offend people, to be offended, to learn things about ourselves we don’t want to know, to be put in our place, to have friends, to lose friends, to be part of something, to be alone, to walk into places that are too loud and too crowded, and to interact with people when we don’t want to, to learn a truth we might never understand, is the reason we are alive.

Feelings and emotions are the biggest part of our lives for a reason and they mean something. They mean we’re alive. Emotions are powerful and crippling and long-lasting, and wonderful. Learn to understand them and we learn to understand ourselves. We shouldn’t stop living just because it’s uncomfortable sometimes. Live more now, learn more now, be more now because you are alive now. Someday you will be dead and that’s going to be one more thing that we’re not gonna wanna do, so we have to act while we’re alive and do things that push us further than we’ve gone before, learn new things, go to new places, see new people, be a real living person for the little time we have left.

Safe places might as well be coffins. They separate us from the real emotions we feel just as real life begins to happen. Pain, suffering, sorrow, sadness, nervousness, confrontation, irritability, anger: things can not be avoided all the time, so we must learn and adapt to them and eventually we will gain more and more control until we overcome them. And we will learn to control them, if we want to be a better person. Dodge them, hide from them, go to the safe place and the emotions then control us.

Am I saying we’re a bad people if anxiety stops us from enjoying life? No. But we’ll enjoy more of our life and be more of the person we’d like to be if we allow ourselves out into the world and feel the uncomfortable reality of life.

Life is not all about being in a good place all the time. It’s also about the scary places just as much and the fears that come with those places. Yes, we realize anxiety is scary and it’s a real emotional response to a real world situation. It’s truly happening to us and we are right to feel the way we do. But, it doesn’t last forever. When it comes, it’s like a wave. Ride it out.

There is nothing fake or easy about it. There is no way to just get over it when it comes. Our anxieties and our fears can be controlled and we should practice controlling them every chance we get because we should want to overcome our fears.

Again, I’m not saying our emotions aren’t real, I’m saying they are not justified by reality. Just like the monster in our childhood closet. Were we scared? Sure. But was there a real reason to be? No. It was all in our mind.

Just like the dark, once we spent enough time in it, grew up in it, we learned there was no reason to be afraid. The same will happen with crowds, noises, places, and all the other things that make us feel anxiety and fear. It comes from the unfamiliarity of the situation. Just like sleeping alone in the dark causes all types of fear at first and we imagine all manner of things in the closet, under the bed, and lurking in the dark. It’s only our imagination working overtime.

The same things happen with crowds of people and new places. We imagine the people are thinking of us and talking about us. We imagine they are laughing at us, looking at us, pointing at us. We just know they remember every little thing we do and that we’re always on their minds. They just can’t wait until they get a chance to laugh at us again.

But, none of that is true. No one is thinking bad things about us. No one is laughing at us or pointing out our mistakes. No one is talking about that time we dropped our fork in the cafeteria. In fact, practically no one even knows we’re alive. And that’s the thing we should be afraid of, really. Going our entire lives and being afraid of our imagination and too scared to go to the store, so when we die no one even knew we were alive.

The Chasm: What Is vs What’s Mine

I write posts on Facebook as a way to serve myself reminders of my daily thoughts. Often a “1 Year Ago” post will be waiting for me and after reading it I have a moment where I can either see how far I’ve come with the idea or I’ll wonder why that subject ever mattered to me at all. In both cases I feel a sense of being. Knowing I was there solidifies the importance of being here NOW..

Today I was brought face to face with the dark, wide chasm between “What IS” and “What’s MINE.” There is a profound difference yet the only difference is the fact that I am here NOW and I feel like I can lose it.

LOSING IT

What’s mine only becomes important when I feel I’m going to lose it in some way. Whether through a willing exchange or the actions of someone else, there is a chance I could lose what belongs to me.  A fundamental aspect of our society is that Everything belongs to someone. Even things like clean water has to be made a Human Right by the highest governing bodies of the world because if not someone in the guise of a company would attempt to withhold it from those who can’t afford it.

This Chasm exists between “What IS” and “What’s Mine” so we can all stand at the brink and feel ashamed because this Chasm is human made. We made it so we could feel superior to the people who don’t have what we consider ours. Money, cars, houses, and a hundred other products we need to survive comfortably aren’t important to us until we realize we could lose them.

Suddenly, today, this realization came to me: I create things so that I can lose them. So, they can go from being “Mine” to simply “Being.”  Music, stories, poetry, this blog, my Facebook posts. Sure, I create it all for myself and to myself, but deep down I feel others could benefit from their creation. Especially, I think this about the music and stories.

To understand that everything you have will be gone someday is a good starting point of ownership. “What’s Mine” will always become “What IS.”

Allowing the Gratitude

The difference between receiving a pencil or a million dollars is simply this: you don’t think it’s possible that you’ll get a million dollars, but a pencil is different. Everyone has pencils. You could have one of those easy, right? You can picture yourself with a pencil. You know what you could do with a pencil. You can imagine how it would feel between your fingers. Is it shiny or dull? Metal, wood, or plastic?

Now think of a million dollars. What would you do with it? How does having it make you feel? Can you imagine holding the bills in your hand? Can you imagine the vacation you would take and who you would take along? Do you know what type of house you would buy and who would live in it with you?

How would having a million dollars make you feel?

Don’t worry about from where it’ll come or who’ll bring it!!

Forget the money altogether. Focus on the emotions of taking the vacation, of moving into your new home, of holding the house warming party. How would that make you feel? Thankful? Full of Gratitude? Appreciative? Try to Focus on that feeling.

That feeling and the thoughts that give it is the key to everything. You must try and hold that feeling feeling for twenty seconds. If a negative thought breaks in, start over. Don’t allow your thoughts to wander.

A million dollars is hard to imagine, so begin with things relative to your life. The things you need and want. We have mental blocks that we think are true and they make us doubt ourselves, which is why I began this with a pencil. I want you to begin with something comfortable, something you need. It becomes easier and easier. If you do this everyday you will be able to manifest the things you need seemingly by magic.

Don’t doubt your abilities, try it.

20 seconds.

______________

I’m happy in my life as a creator.
You can be too.

So we are Here. What Now?

So We Are Here. What Now?

by Thadd Presley

The fire in my belly is lit
I don’t use an alarm clock
I’m up before six
with dreams so big you’d think I was a kid
anxious to meet and play with friends

The gleam in my eye is bright
from the dark, a focused light
projecting visions from inside my mind
straight to your heart
illuminating the places you try to hide

They can’t take away or frustrate
the day you stake your claim to fate
For God’s sake, the ache,
this has to be a mistake
there’s no way that Life is such a waste

Beautiful creations clean you
Renews the used and abused
and brings to bloom the fruit needed to prove
that you can choose
without fearing what there is to lose

Choices are Life’s crossroads
designed with two ways to go:
stay where you are or dare into the unknown.
Both are risks that will show
you choose today over growing fat and old

Should we continue to be absurd
flog a dead horse with cotton candy words
bring sandwiches to banquets to feed the birds
or can we allow the truth to be heard:
You can either relive the past or have a future.

How I Changed Everything (Magic Is Not What You Think It Is)

I changed everything by using magic and it’s not what most people think.

I’ll not list what magic is not. I’ll only explain the way magic works for me and let you understand the truth behind the principle and how fast this begins to work for everyone, including the people around you. You see, it doesn’t just affect you. It affects everyone you think about and interact with.

Even today, magic is looked down upon by people who claim that using it is evil and ungodly. However, after reading this short description of magic and how it works, I think anyone can see that evil and magic have nothing to do with each other.  It’s just a phenomenon of nature, just like the wind or the sun. We use the wind and sun and it’ even invisible, but that is not considered magic. It’s powerful and amazing and very real, but it is not evil, although it could be used for evil things. Sunburns seem evil sometimes and electricity which can be harnessed from wind or the sun can be deadly, but it is not evil.  Power companies can seem evil when they deprive a poor family of power in the winter or in the heat of summer, but that has nothing to do with the amazing and wondrous power of the sun and the wind.  Same thing applies to the amazing and powerful wonder of our mind and our intention.

What is Magic?

  • Magic is the “way you think” about an experience or a thing
  • Because the “way you think” controls the words you say
  • Because when you “speak” a series of vibrations is created
  •  And since everything is a vibration. It can be surmised that our thoughts create everything.

Science backs this up in many ways. The fact that everything is created by vibrations and that “super-position” is a real phenomenon. Everything, from the smallest known particle to the largest known galaxy, is vibration and know we know it can be in more than one place at a time.  Do you believe that? I know it seems unreal and impossible, but it’s pure science now. It’s not a conjecture or a part of a pseudo-science. The fact of “super position” has been proven in experiment after experiment. Just Google “super-position” or read into the absolutely mind-blowing experiment called “The Double Slit.”  — It’ll change the way you think about everything. It will prove to you that there is proof that reality is not the way we think it is.

So how can we use this new knowledge? How do these vibrations change everything and why do I call this magic?

Use vibrations to our advantage is as simple as being aware of your thoughts and not allowing yourself to think mindlessly. It really is that simple. It is also very complicated once realized because being aware of your thoughts and stopping mindlessness is not always easy. It really can be complicated to not think of things that low vibrations create.  Fear, hate, jealousy, anger, the things we now call drama. There are all things of low vibration.

How often do you think about something or someone without realizing where your thought process is leading you. Exactly what emotions is it causing and what is the purpose of your thoughts?  How often do you find yourself focusing on a past experience and not realize how it’s affecting your current attitude about the future?

Please understand that learning to monitor your thoughts is the beginning of the rest of your life and it will put you in 100% control of what happens to you from this moment forward. I don’t mean that the things you think are “bad” or inconvenient won’t ever happen again. But I am saying that if you don’t like what is happening to you, change the way you think about it. Knowing that “it won’t last forever” and that “you deserve something better” will cause an immediate change of your reality.

When that “bad” thing happens you must not think “this has ruined my life and I’ll never fix this or get over it.” Instead, monitor what you’re think and purposefully think “this is certainly a surprise. This will lead to more surprises and they will all come together in way that I can use to present a new part of myself.”

Why must you think that? Because usually these “surprises” do come together and turn out just fine in the end. nd they have a purpose. You will live through the same low frequencies until you learn to transform them into something higher. We all know that Worry and Anxiety create more of the same.  So, there is only one thing we can do to change it. Thing in higher vibrations.

Here are ways to and things to focus on and think about as you go through your day:

Guidelines You Can Begin Practicing:

Below are a few guidelines in which you should live your life. This list is not my own, for it is used by many to make their experience the best it can be.

Read these slowly.

  • Think for yourself. Never let anyone else think for you. Or you will become a prisoner of their thinking.
  • If I am to know anything, know that I know nothing. And every experience is a new one where I can present a new higher frequency.
  • Question why.
  • Believe in yourself. Believe you can achieve whatever you set your will to, and you “will achieve” the things you think about.
  • Love yourself. You’re worth it. Be grateful to everything and everyone. They’re worth it.
  • Appreciate your water and food, it will return the favor.
  • It’s okay to feel angry, express it properly then let it go.
  • Raise your fists in defense, never in abuse.
  • Appreciate your existence, it is one of the most special gifts anyone can receive. You have a personal body that you can create and re-create as you wish.
  • Accept & respect everyone’s right to personal choice. It’s their god given right to create and re-create themselves anyway they wish, don’t take it away.
  • Give the help someone is willing to receive, not the help you want to give them.
  • Have faith in your future, and your future will faithfully be waiting.
  • TAKE CARE OF THE EARTH and she will take care of us.
  • Be helpful wherever and whenever you can, and the world will be helpful to you.
  • Know when you can’t help someone, so you don’t waist your time trying.
  • Don’t be afraid to express who you are. You are a wonderful spark of creation. Express Your Self and allow others to do the same.
  • Choose your perception. Only you can choose how to experience anything. If you don’t like it? Change your perception of it. (A great example of this is what happens when you think your drinking milk, but it’s tea. It tastes nasty, but then you know it’s tea and realize it’s actually delicious.)
  • Your experience of the world comes through perceptions, change your perceptions and you will change the world.
  • Take a moment every now and again and observe the uniqueness of your particular situation, take a deep breath, smell the flowers, appreciate your exact location and experience in the universe, it is a place in time that will never happen again.
  • Eliminate habits of thinking that obstruct the universe’s ability to carry out your will.
  • Have fun, you never have to stop being a kid.
  • The universe communicates with all of us. She tells us her secrets and answers all of our questions, we just have to communicate and then pay attention for the answer.
  • Know when to keep your mouth shut and play dumb.
  • Always do your best and you will never have anything to regret.
  • Eliminate or reduce toxic relationships. You wouldn’t stay in a room that stinks so why would you stay in a relationship that stinks.
  • It’s okay to to make mistakes, learn from them and do things differently next time.
  • Remember that, I am not just some body. I am spirit with a body.
  • Remember that, I am a force of nature, nothing can stop my true path. I will ensure my own success
  • All of life is a circle, what you send out comes back.
  • We each create our personal reality by transmitting our powers of manifestation. Learn how to clean up their transmissions so that the can create precisely with their intent.
  • Do what you love. If you can’t yet, love what you do, and your world will love you too.
  • Practice compassion.
  • Smile, you just might make someone’s day.
  • Accept people and the world the way they are, but work to change it for the better.
  • One thing is for sure of anyone who has ever succeeded, they never gave up.
  • You cant change someone, you can only change yourself and hope that they can grow from that.
  • All you see in your world is the outcome of your ideas about it.
  • You are what you think you are. You are your own thoughts about yourself, made manifest.
  • Life is not a process of discovery, it is a process of creation.

Like I said, this list is not unique and it was not created by me. It’s just the rules we have all heard before and have tried to live by at times. Be Mindful of yourself and of the vibrations your create.

The Guide

The Guide

by Thadd Presley

Perhaps; and I say this in case,
You’ve never been to, seen, or heard of the place
And, if not, just perhaps, you’d still like to go
You can get there still, by following someone who knows.

And who knows the way, and how to get there, please tell?
It’s not the one who only heard of The WAY and says all will be well.
Is there a single path? The only answer is no.
Is there a pleasant route? There’s only one way to know.

You must follow your heart, through the thoughtless crowd
And cover your ears to the loud distractions that abound.
There’ll be people pushing and friends holding you down.
They’ll see in your eyes, if you’ve got a route planned out.

And once they see that you know the way,
They’ll ask you for directions to that wonderful place.
Perhaps, just perhaps, you’ll take the extra time
To not just tell them the distance, but become their to guide.
